Metal Recycling in Edmonton
I personally go to Maple Leaf metals to recycle some of the metals that Junkzilla Removes. The tricky part about trying to sell metal, is the pre-planning. You can sell a car (around $150 last time I checked), brass, various grades of copper, aluminium, stainless steel and iron. You can also purchase metal products. Between the time and fuel required to get to Maple Leaf metals and make the sale, and the risk of damaging tires, I will often make pitstops at city eco-stations to offload small to medium quantities. You don’t get paid for the metal, but it is free to get rid of and the time savings are often worth it. I’ve heard that for trailer loads, General Recycling has a more efficient offloading system.
